Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 4 @ 10am - 12pm A special visit from the Easter Bunny! Bring the kids down to the park where they will search for candy filled Easter eggs which are hidden all over the grassy area in front of the building. The hunt is divided into 2 groups so the little ones search one area and the older kids search another. The Easter bunny will also arrive to visit with the kids. Candy donations are appreciated to make this event happen. They should be small enough to fit in plastic egg. Volunteers are also needed to help the Easter Bunny hide eggs! |
Pool Opens
Friday, May 22 Friday: 4pm-9pm Saturday: 12pm-9pm Sunday: 12pm-8pm Monday: 12pm - 8pm Full Time: Friday, June 5, 12pm-9pm Then Mondays - Saturdays: 12pm-9pm Sundays: 12pm-8pm Let the dog days of summer begin! Dust off those swimmies and get down to the park to relax, play, or just get re-acquainted with that seemingly brief season we call "Summer". *Guests need to check-in at the Bee Hive and pay standard guest fees (must be accompanied by a member and planning to swim) |
Kids' Night
Friday, June 19 @ 6pm-9pm Friday, August 14 @ 5pm-8pm (Back to School Party) Crafts, games, swimming contest, pizza and lemonade! A night set aside for the younger kids. This night is for 7-12 year olds to have fun together at the pool. The kids will eat pizza, swim, and have a good time. $5 per child in advance; $10 at the door. Register and purchase online using the button below! *Children will need to check-in at the Bee Hive with a waiver signed by their parent/guardian. Registration is limited to first 30 children. |
Women's Float
Saturday, June 20 | 10am - noon Saturday, August 8 | 10am - noon Build community and friendship while enjoying the peacefulness of the pool. Women only ages 18 and older, please. Members and guests* welcome! *Guests need to check-in at the Bee Hive and pay standard guest fees (must be accompanied by a member) |
4th of July Parade
Friday, July 4 - 9:30am Decorate your bike, golf cart, lawnmower, whatever, and bring a patriotic attitude with your ride! A special thank you to all active duty and retired military veterans. A fun day begins with the parade at 9:30 AM. The parade begins at Northville Dr. and Plainfield Ave. (near Enterprise Car Rental). Kids are invited to join in (with parental supervision) by decorating their bikes and riding in the parade. As usual, the lifeguards will take up the rear of the parade, armed with super-soakers and water balloons. The parade ends at Northville Park where there will be events for everyone to join in such as the tug of war, water balloon toss, sack race, etc....Join us for a picnic lunch and spend your 4th with NPA! |
Book Club Wednesday nights @ 6pm June 24 - Best Offer Wins July 29 - The Authenticity Project Aug 19 - The Swimmers: A Novel Join us this summer for a laid-back, poolside book club with good books, easy conversation, and great neighbors. We’ll read stories about connection, community, and everyday life. Read the book or just come to hang out, either way, all are welcome!

Family Campout
Sat., July 25 - Sun., July 26, 2026 Tent camping at its finest. Relax around the bonfire with friends, enjoy the s'mores, eat a hearty breakfast (donations welcome), and take an early morning dip in the pool. Families come to the park on Saturday afternoon and set up their tents or campers in the grassy field and spend the night. We grill hot dogs and roast marshmallows Saturday evening and there is a pancake breakfast Sunday morning (with lots of coffee). The restroom and kitchen facilities are available throughout the campout for those that attend. The kids keep busy and the pool is open late. After of fun filled evening (5pm) and a good night's sleep (??), everyone gets up on Sunday morning with a check out time of 10am. End of Season Celebration & Boat Regatta
Monday, Sept. 7 @ 4pm-8pm Create the most unique, fastest, or just plain crazy "boat" you can. Compete against others in your age group, and celebrate a farewell to summer. All ages welcome! All good things must come to an end, but let's celebrate with a boat regatta! Everyone is welcome to build and enter a boat in the race, and we recommend you start building prior to the event (some may be designing them now)! OFFICIAL BOAT REGATTA REGULATIONS 1. Boats are to be a tri-hull construction made from plastic soda pop bottles. 2. Bottle sizes of 1-2 liter or 32-64 ounce are acceptable. 3. Boat length is limited to 13 inches (height of a 2-liter). 4. Each boat may only participate in one race. 5. Racer must build his/her own boat. Suggestions for other material are wood doweling for masts, paper or cloth sails, duct tape, or whatever you can think of that will sail like the wind!!!! Prizes will be given for the "Best-of-Show" and "Craziest Boat" in each age group, as well as the top finisher for each age group. |

Movies at the Park!
Thursday, October 22 @ 6pm-9pm MEMBERS + GUESTS! Join us for this new event at the Park, utilizing our newly donated Outdoor Movie Projector and Screen! Stay tuned for updates on the movie selections available. Tentatively planning on a toddler-friendly flick from 6-7pm, before our feature presentation of a PG/PG-13 movie for the 8+ crowd! Parents, please plan to stay on-site the entire time. This is NOT a chaperoned/supervised drop-off event. Popcorn generously donated by Celebration Cinema North; optional donations are welcome and benefit the NVPS - East Oakview PTC! |
Annual Meeting
Monday, October 19 @ 7pm The purpose of the meeting shall be the election of Directors, approval of the annual Budget, approval of the upcoming year’s Dues, and the transaction of such other business as may be indicated in the notice of properly brought before it. The order of business at the Annual Meeting shall be determined by the Association President or the presiding Officer. |
Trunk or Treat and Haunted Trail Saturday, October 24 @ 6pm-8pm MEMBERS ONLY! A community fall favorite! Come for the candy, stay for the spookiest trail this side of the Grand River. We will line up vehicles in the ball field and have a fire going. Please let us know if you want to participate by decorating your car or would like to donate candy. |
