FITNESS OFFERINGS

Helping to Build a Healthy Community

We were so proud to offer fitness classes for the 2025 season! All classes were free to members and $5 for non-members and led by experienced/trained instructors and will provide options for all levels of fitness. Please consult your doctor before beginning any fitness program.  A fitness waiver will be required for all participants, please bring this to the first class.

Poolside Yoga
July 9 through August 20, 2025
Wednesdays & Fridays @ 7:30am

Instructor: NPA member Therese McAllister

What to expect: Start your morning with a gentle and energizing yoga session by the pool! Poolside Yoga combines basic yoga movements that stretch and strengthen muscles, enhance mobility, and improve overall well-being. No experience is required—this class is designed for all fitness levels.
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel.

Note:
 Classes may be canceled in the event of wet or unsafe surfaces. Updates on cancellations will be posted via Facebook.

WERQ Dance Fitness
June 5 through August 21, 2025
Thursdays @ 7pm; 60 minutes: NPA Parking Lot


What to expect: Expect to SWEAT and burn around 500-900 calories each hour of WERQ! All dance and fitness abilities welcome. Wear workout clothes and gym shoes and bring your water bottle and a towel!

Instructor: NPA member Jeannie Wiarda
​Join Jeannie for the wildly addictive cardio dance class, WERQ! WERQ (pronounced “work”) is the fiercely fun dance fitness workout based on pop and hip hop music. Be sure to follow Jeannie on Facebook and mark your calendars all summer long for this fantastic FREE opportunity for our members!

NeuroFit: Train the Brain & Body
June 10 through August 1, 2025
Tuesday through Friday @ 9am; NPA Parking Lot

Instructor: NPA member Jill Stevens

​We’re excited to announce new fitness classes at the pool, led by our instructor Jill Stevens! These fun, inclusive classes are designed for all fitness levels, whether you’re a beginner or experienced.

What to Expect:
  • Strength Training Classes (3 days a week): Learn foundational strength exercises like squats, lunges, and push-ups, using bodyweight or equipment you bring. Build muscle, boost energy, and improve confidence!
  • Mindful Movement & Stretching (1 day a week): A gentle class focused on flexibility, relaxation, and mental clarity—perfect for refreshing your body and mind.
