Join us for a summer full of ADVENTURE!

We're excited to introduce a whole new way to enjoy Northville Park! Our new STEM-based programming will take place each Wednesday from 6-8pm, starting June 17 through August 12 (no classes July 29.)

Led by certified instructors from STEM & Branch Academy, this weekly outdoor enrichment program is made possible by Adventure Credit Union. The program combines nature, STEM, teamwork, and adventure-based play. Registration opens 3 weeks before each class and are first-come, first-served.

Kids ages 7-12 can dive into exciting activities, make new friends, and enjoy the great outdoors on the 26-acre Northville Park property. From nature scavenger hunts to playful games, there's something for every adventurer!

Don't miss out on the chance to create awesome memories and discover the wonders of the park!

Frequently Asked Questions

When does registration open?
Registration for each session opens 3 weeks prior to the event. For example, if you are interested in the July 29 session, you can register as early as July 8 starting at 8am.

Do I have to be a member of Northville Park Association?
No! Any child age 7-12 may register to participate. All sessions are limited to 30 kids, and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I register the day of the event?
So long as there are spots available, yes! You may register the day of the event. However, we very much appreciate early registrations to help us plan for staffing and food.

Are the instructors certified?
Our primary instructor holds these certifications, among many others! • Master Naturalist - MSU certified • Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor-certified • Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor-certified • Red Cross Water Safety/Swim Instructor-certified • SOLO Wilderness First Aid-certified

Will my child(ren) be able to use the swimming pool during Adventure Kids sessions?
While our members love using our pool all summer long, the primary focus of our 2-hour Adventure Kids programming is the STEM-based nature learning. Youth members attending Adventure Kid's sessions should plan to use the pool before programming begins or after it concludes. Non-members must be accompanied by a member and pay the guest fees.

Will food be provided?
Yes! Light snacks, or in some cases pizza, will be provided for children during the session. Participants should plan to bring their own water bottles.

What ages can participate?
Our programming is recommended for ages 7-12. Older students who are interested in being involved may apply for our mentorship program!
